This is the glacier-fed lake seen in the previous photo. It empties into a stream and our trail goes through that stream. The thing about this photo is it lacks a reference to its scale (well, aside from a bit of red backpack lower center) but if you look left of center you see some tiny red dots that are hikers in the process of crossing the stream. That'll soon be us.
