It was 1999 when we headed out yet again for Death Valley via motorcycle. (By car? that's easy.) It was a more successful trip than the previous motorcycle trip.

Panamint Springs

I remember the night in Panamint Springs for the good food, the patio where you could watch the hot day draw to a close, and the worn-out motel room.

Beatty's trailer hotel

Not a high point, Beatty. Not much scenery and every building in town is a trailer, even the hotel.

One of the many nice things about digital photos is the extra information in the file, such as the camera's settings and the date taken. Today's photos are all scans so all that info is lacking. So here is a question: were these photos all taken on the same trip to Death Valley? If not, why not?
