This painting is a reaction to my experiences whilst living in Venice leading up to the exhibition.
An overhead map of the city divided into 54 parts provided the framework which incorporated found and recycled materials from the six districts of the city.
I have brought fragments of past artistic and emotional experiences, which, with the use of pareidolia and serendipity creates a painting open to interpretation.
