Ajaccio to Toulon ferry
We left beautiful Bonifacio this morning. We stopped first at the Filitosa archaeological site where we marvelled at what archaeologists can ascertain from tiny bits of this and that.
From Filitosa we drove to Ajaccio where we dropped off the Citroen. We walked to the port to catch a ferry, the Pascal Lota, to Toulon. We had a cabin. The ferry set sail at 20:00 and arrived in Toulon at 7:00.
The over-night ferry was comfortable. We reserved an outside cabin which had big windows, a comfortable bed, and a small bathroom, all you need for a good nights sleep.
