After our rest day in Courmayeur we resumed hiking and spent the next night at the Rifugio Bonatti, which became one of my favourites. It was comfortable, the food good, and the views of the Mt Blanc massif spectacular. We also befriended a hiker, Zammy, whom we met off and on over the next few days.
