A favorite photo of mine, this line of pastel-painted rocky mountain peaks.
In the photo you can just barely make out Paul (left side, very small) admiring the beautiful mountains Tofana di Rozes and Col dei Bos. On the map, the photo was taken at the blue pointer. We were headed southwest, past Stazione Lagazuoi to Rifugio Lagazuoi. Once at Lagazuoi we had to decide whether to hike down (a 300 m elevation change) or take the cable car.
