I'm at the end of reviewing photos from our 2010 trip to Turkey where we visited Istanbul, Goreme, and three towns on the coast, Alaçati, Cesme, and the ruins of Ephesus in Selçuk.

Below are the last shots of the coast around Cesme and Alaçati. We then drove back to Izmir, ditched the car, flew to Istanbul, spent one night, and then caught a flight home.

Dog pack  
 
Loose dogs are common in Turkey. While we were on a walk in Alaçati a pack began to menace us. You can just barely make them out, they are to the right of the building on the left. Fortunately a local fellow saw us and came to our rescue. He scared the dogs away and we went on our walk.
