We found ourselves in Bari because of an earlier, abandoned itinerary: we planned to start our travels in Corfu, then ferry to Italy, landing in Bari for an overnight while on our way to Lecce. But we postponed Corfu for another day and, on reading about Bari, the overnight got extended. And so here we are in Bari.
