Yesterday, Canadian thanksgiving, was a sunny day between rainy ones so we hiked to Priest's cabin where there's a view of French Beach. It's the white strip just left of center in the photo. The name isn't referring to the country, it's for James French whose home and favourite beach became French Beach Provincial Park. In the distance, over the water, is Washington state.
