Doppelganger, film by Stan Douglas, Vancouver

Douglas' wonderful film takes the quantum mechanical concept of entanglement and applies it to an astronaut who undergoes an experimental teleportation. Alice, pictured, becomes entangled with her reversed twin, a story told with a split and reversed screen. Very entertaining and very well done.

An engrossing Canadian film filled with faceless avatars that are continuously tortured. They represent a post-physical existence where all humanity is uploaded to a virtual purgatory.
