The trip through Active Pass is always accompanied by an earsplitting blast from the ship's horn. That's because it's narrow and it's a likely place to encounter another ship, like today when we passed the Coastal Celebration headed for Swartz Bay. The Coastal Celebration, built in 2008, can carry 310 cars and 1,604 people.
